An Evening With Google Earth

Magalloway's hot sister. Look at those glades.  Hubba hubba.
The dry weather has us backcountry-repressed here at NEBC.  So we've been trying to scratch our itch by playing around with Google Earth to plan some future trips.  Come see what we've found.

Northeast facing.  Lines from top to bottom.  Oh Yeah.

Steep and deep.

Oldie but goodie.  Still gets the heart racing.

Mini Gulf of Slides?  So gorgeous, yet so remote.

Glades are just as sexy.
Clear cut.  For your pleasure.

Anybody else need a snow shower?

  2. Nice stuff, but how am I supposed to find 'em all without topos?!
What, can you only give us topos once you've skied it? Don't want to find your stashes skied out before you get there? hmm....

Oh, and the backside of Laf is a slog. Stay on the front, Walker's a riot (when it's in), as is the Throat, for that matter.

  3. It’s nice to know there are other Google Earth junkies out there like me scouting out new areas and lines. I’ve been using it for a few years now and it’s an amazing tool!
